Privacy Secured Last Updated: August 12, 2026

Overview

Welcome to Taska! We value your privacy and are committed to keeping your tasks, lists, and schedules completely secure. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Android application Taska. Taska operates primarily on your device and is designed to run securely and locally, without transmitting personal data to our servers.

Privacy First: Taska operates locally on your hardware. We do not require account registration, and we collect absolutely zero personal user profile credentials or private task data.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data that identifies you directly. Taska operates primarily on your device and does not transmit personal information to our servers. However, the app may collect and use the following types of information:

  • Local Task Data: Tasks, reminders, and widget configurations are stored locally on your device.
  • Crash and Usage Data (Optional): If you opt in, anonymous data such as app crashes or basic usage statistics may be collected via services like Google Play Console or Firebase.

Local-Only Storage

All tasks, reminders, configurations, and widget preferences are saved securely on your device's local memory.

No Accounts Required

Plan instantly. No signups, email verification, or passwords to remember. Download and start organizing your day.

Minimal Permissions

We only ask for essential permissions: system notifications, boot startup receiver, and widget access features.

Ad-Supported

To keep the app free, we use industry-standard ad networks like Google AdMob or Unity Ads to serve relevant advertisements.

2. Permissions Used

Taska may request the following permissions to function properly:

  • Notifications: To remind you about your scheduled tasks.
  • Run at Startup: To re-schedule notifications when your device is restarted.
  • Access to Widgets: To display upcoming tasks on your home screen.

These permissions are used strictly for app functionality. We do not share any data without your consent.

3. Third-party Services

The app may integrate third-party services for diagnostics and advertising, including:

  • Google Play Services: For core app functionality and updates.
  • Analytics & Diagnostics: Google Play Console, Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve stability.
  • Advertising Networks: Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or similar platforms to display ads.

These services may collect device-related, anonymous data such as device model, OS version, and performance metrics. You can view and control ad personalization via your device or Google account settings.

4. Advertising and Identifiers

To serve relevant ads and measure their performance, we may use the Advertising ID (such as the Google Advertising ID or AAID). This is a unique, user-resettable identifier for advertising provided by your mobile device.

We use this ID for purposes such as:

  • Personalization: Showing ads that are relevant to your interests.
  • Frequency Capping: Limiting the number of times you see the same ad.
  • Analytics: Measuring the effectiveness of ad campaigns.

You can opt-out of personalized advertising or reset your Advertising ID in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

5. Data Security

All task-related data is stored locally on your device. We do not transfer this data externally. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security due to the nature of mobile environments. Regular backups are recommended.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
